Today's Ways to Use It Challenge over at Splitcoast is to use *bling* on your cards. I love *blingy* (is that a word?) cards. I knew I wanted to try to make a Halloween card with a little bling! I had a picture in my mind of what I wanted to do and it turned out just like I had planned! I love it when a card comes together so easily as that does not happent to me EVER!!! LOL..
So onto the details!! I used my had to have set, (after much enabling on SCS!) Autumn Apparitions from the Holiday Mini. I used the Creepy Crawly DP along with Basic Black & Pumpkin Pie cardstock for my layers. I stamped the *scene* onto Shimmery White cardstock with Pumpkin Pie, Summer Sun & Old Olive classic ink. I stamped the bat, cat and spider (love that little guy) with Palette Hybrid Ink in Noir Black. I then covered the pumpkins and the moon with Dazzling Diamonds using the two way glue pen! It is so sparkly in real life.
I then finished the card by stamping the *Boo* onto Shimmery White cs and punching it out with a 1 inch circle punch, which was then layered onto a 1 1/4 inch Basic Black circle. I punched a hole in the top and threaded the Pumpkin Pie grosgrain ribbon through and tied it with a bow.
Thanks for stopping by!
