Hi everyone!! Late last week I received an email from Julee Tilman asking me if I would be her guest for her Lovey Dovey Challenge over at the Our Creative Corner (OCC) blog for today. Okay....would I???? Heck yeah!! Who could say no to Julee???? Not me! LOL!!
The challenge is to make a card or project for a love of a lifetime/anniversary or just something for that special someone who makes you go all twitterpated. I knew immediately that these two love birds from the Kim Hughes' set, The Birds and the Bees, would be perfect!
Here are a few details: The sketch is one of Taylor's Cupcake Sketches, TECC44. The birds were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black (really, is there any other black?) and colored in with Copics. I cut them out with Nestabilities and before taking them out of the die I sponged on some Tea Dye and Walnut Stain Distress Ink. The background heart paper was made with one of the heart stamps from the same set. The sentiment is attached to a Heidi Swapp Ghost Heart and finished off with some Xmas Red Stickles and a button from SU!
I hope you hop on over to the OCC blog and check out the awesome samples the OCC ladies have cooked up! Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a great weekend!
~Jackie
