Did you know that every Sunday on The Paper Pretties blog, The Paper Clip, our own Danielle Lounds issues a challenge that involves a prize? Yep, you heart that right......a PRIZE! This Sunday's challenge is a sketch, but there is a catch...you have to use one of two sets from Paper Pretties: Flutter By (which I used here) or Wade E. Bug. You can read all about the challenge here.
Here is some info on my card: I stamped Sophia in Memento Tuxedo Black, colored her in with Copic Markers and then cut her out with the long rectangle Nestabilities. The DP is the Parisian Summer DSP from Stampin' Up!. The half circle was cut with the Coluzzle. I also ran it through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. The sentiment is from a SU! set called Fundamental Phrases and was punched out with a small oval punch and layered on a Bravo Burgundy large oval.
Before I go, did you notice my new blog banner and the look of my blog? Well, I have Jami Bova (sgtstamper) to thank for the blog banner. Isn't it awesome? I just love it. She was really easy to work with! After uploading the banner, I decided to change up the rest of my blog a bit. What do you think? I really like the look of just a white background on a blog, but felt I needed a change! I can always go back to white!!
