Hi everyone! It's Friday and it's time for another one of Taylor's Cupcake Sketch Samplers! Woohoo....I have been looking forward to the sketch this week so I could make something other than a Christmas card! LOL!
I used the Kim Hughes' set called Hugs and Kisses. The color combo is White, Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red. The images in each circle were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black, colored in with Copics and cut out with Nestabilities. There is Xmas Red Stickles on the hearts in each circle. The background square pattern was made with a heart stamp included in the set and was also colored with Copics. A little piercing finishes it off!
Now it's your turn to try the sketch. Taylor will choose the most clever, creative and cute creation from the submissions this weekend to be the Featured Cupcake Sampler next week. Your design and blog will be featured on her blog during Cupcake Friday. You're welcome to create something other than a card, but just stick to the sketch as closely as possible and you'll be eligible for the Featured Cupcake Sampler honors. If you upload your sketch to Splitcoast, use keyword TECC49 (for Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge 49). Leave a comment onTaylor's blog with a link to your blog or gallery upload so Taylor can check it out. The deadline to be eligible for the featured cupcake sampler is Monday January 5th at 8:00 am PST.
