Hi everyone and Happy Monday! I am so excited for this new week with no sick kids, hubby back to work (he stayed home a few days last week to help me) and having "my time" back!! It's also an exciting week because Paper Pretties is releasing some new stamps on Friday and I have to say that this is my FAVORITE RELEASE to date! So stay tuned!! You don't want to miss it!!
For today's Prettie card I used my fave Sophia, Cuddle Me, and made my card with a Curved Rectangle Nestability. Denise Marzec does this all of the time and I love the look! I was going for a Clean and Simple look and I think I achieved it! Sophia was paper pieced with Nana's Nursery Baby Girl DP from Die Cuts With a View. The Berry Sorbet cardstock was embossed with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. The idea for the button and ribbon thingie (sorry don't know the technical name!!) came from the fabulous Susan Liles. I also took my picture outside which is what I did when I first started uploading to SCS. I get better pictures this way!!
Here is some important Prettie information for this week:
On Friday May 1st Paper Pretties will be having their monthly Stampin In Your Jammies party!! The party starts at 6PM CDT and will last until 9pm. We will be issuing a challenge every hour so be sure to come and play along!! Besides the challenges, chatter, and all around fun, we will also be releasing Hola Chica, TWO new Sophias, re-releasing Rainy Day Friend in RUBBAH, and we will have a BRAND new set from a BRAND new artist!! Sneak peeks start on Wednesday April 29th!! Hope to see you there!!
It is time for another Cutie Pie contest!! You have until Thursday April 30th at 8pmCDT to get your entries uploaded to the Cutie Pie gallery at the Paper Pretties website. The winner will not only get to call themselves a Cutie Pie, but they will also receive all the new release stamps!! Good Luck!!
Have a great Monday!! Thank you for stopping by!
