TECC65 Make A Wish

 

Hi everyone!  Whew.....it's Friday and it's time for another one of Taylor's Cupcake Sketches!!  This has been one crazy week.  I had two sick girls....one ended up in emergency (par for the course with her!) and finally today things are getting back to normal!  I have not stamped since last weekend so it felt good to get inky!!   I really struggled with this sketch and sort of veered from the original by adding the oval!  But isn't a sketch just inspiration?  LOL!

I used a new set from Papertrey Ink called Wishing You.  I LOVE this set!  I'm also having a love affair with Papertrey and I have my friend, Julie Lacey to blame for that....Thanks, girl!!  For the sake of time, just know that everything on my card, with the exception of the Swiss Dots and the Oval Nesties are from Papertrey.  Color combo is Kraft, White, Pure Poppy and Ripe Avocado.

Now it's your turn to try the sketch.  Taylor will choose the most clever, creative and cute creation from the submissions this weekend to be the Featured Cupcake Sampler next week.  Your design and blog will be featured on her blog during Cupcake Friday.  You're welcome to create something other than a card, but just stick to the sketch as closely as possible and you'll be eligible for the Featured Cupcake Sampler honors.  If you upload your sketch to Splitcoast, use keyword TECC65 (for Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge 65).  Leave a comment on Taylor's blog with a link to your blog or gallery upload so Taylor can check it out.  The deadline to be eligible for the featured cupcake sampler is Monday April 27th at 8:00 am PST.
