Happy New Year!!! It's also Twi-Day around my blog today! What's Twi-Day you ask? Well, my pal Jodi is a HUGE Twilight fan and a few weeks ago she started the Twi-Day (instead of Friday) challenge on her blog. Every Friday she posts a Twilight themed card on her blog and if you want to play along all you have to do is create a card with a Twilight theme and post it on your blog or online gallery and link it to Jodi!
I just love the Twilight themed stamps from The Greeting Farm so I ordered myself a few the other day (they're digi stamps) and I couldn't wait to use Dressy Ebony (Alice). Alice Cullen is one of my fave characters from the Twilight series. She's so girlie. I love the relationships she has with Edward and Bella and I love that she is always irritated with Bella's lack of style!
Anywho, here are some deets: I colored Alice in with Copics, colored her head a second time and popped it up for some dimension. I added some Butter Cream Shimmerz to her face, arms and legs because every good vampire sparkles in the sun! She was cut out with Classic Circle Nestabilities. I added three red adhesive gems to the flower on her headband. The sentiment is from Papertrey as is the Simple Valentine DP. The sketch is this week's Mojo 119 from the Mojo Monday blog. I also had to add some machine stitching, a few brads and some Pure Poppy ribbon to complete the card! Hope you like it!
So do you have any New Year's Resolutions? I have a couple...one is to stamp more for me and the other is to become better aqainted with my treadmill! I have gotten pretty lazy the last few months and need to get on the ball!
Well, that's it for me! I hope you have a great day!!
