Hi there and Happy Sunday! I hope you're all having a great weekend! We are having fabulous weather right now....sunny and in the mid 60's! Hubby, the girls and I went to the Farmer's Market this morning and the girls wore short sleeved shirts! Love it....especially with all the rain and crazy weather we've had lately!
I got back from CHA early last week and I think that CHA really sucked the mojo from me! I was exhausted all week and finally feel like I'm getting back to my old stamping self! I had SO MUCH FUN and met so many INCREDIBLE people! I roomed in a house with the girls from the Taylored Expressions design team and will hopefully get my pics uploaded so I can show you! It was a whirlwind (long) weekend, but I bonded with some FANTASTIC ladies and was so sad to leave!
I was itching to stamp something today so I turned to my friend, Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch! Karen was one of my roomie's at CHA and she is HYSTERICAL! She has such a dry sense of humor and we clicked immediately! If you're reading this, Karen, I miss you, lady!! Ssssssssssso Much!! LOL!
I broke out the new Love Everywhere set from Taylored Expressions and got to work. I stamped the balloon in Riding Hood Red and Chocolate Chip ink onto Choice Buttercream and cut it out with Classic Circle Nestabilities. I added some Martha Stewart Glitter to the balloon with a Sakura Quickie Glue Pen. The DP is My Mind's Eye Be Loved and is from the Valentine Key Ingredients Kit. The scallop hearts on the left were done with a Martha Stewart Punch that I picked up at Mike's last year. The ribbon is Pure Poppy Twill from Papertrey. It's hard to tell from the picture, but I scored the Choice Buttercream base in a diamond pattern using a Scor-Pal.
There will be a lot going on here at my blog this week as I will be rejoining Mercy's Tuesday Sketch after a bit of a break (hubby broke his foot, hard to stamp but now he's back at work, break! LOL!) and the Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks start on Wednesday and go until Friday! You won't want to miss this release! Such cute stuff! What up girlie! This is super cute. I love that sparkly balloon and tiny scalloped edge. AND I so love that paper. I have made almost all my Valentine cards with it!!
