Today the Trendsetters are showing you sneaks of two new sets, Hunny Bunnies and Bear Hugs! My sample is made with Hunny Bunnies, but I have to say that both of these sets are SO STINKIN' ADORABLE!!  I can't wait to play around more with each of them!

 

I paired the bunny with some October Afternoon Farm Fresh papers.  The layout is Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch from a couple weeks ago.  The bunny was colored with Copics and popped up for dimension.  See that heart he's holding?  Well, there are a few items from the set that he can hold!  Think carrots and easter eggs.....ACKKK!  So cute!

I also wanted to give a HUGE Thank You to Jessica, owner of There She Goes, for this wonderful opportunity to design for her company for the past six months.  It's been so much fun and truly an honor!  Thank you, Jessica!!

Just yesterday my Mom and (step) Dad celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary!  We will be seeing them this weekend so I used some stamps from Make A Wish to make them an anniversary card.  I love this cake with the hearts....so pretty!  I also used a few new goodies that I just got from Stampin Up!  The DP is called Sending Love Specialty and is really sparkly IRL!

TSG Blog Hop Challenge ~ Dance ~ Stamps For A Cause!

Today the Trendsetters are showing you sneak peeks of two new sets, Dance and/or Beautiful Spring!  I have a sample from each set to share with you today, so let's get to it!  Oh, both of my cards use this week's Mojo Monday Sketch #127. 

My first card uses the beautiful new set, Dance.  Dance is a mini set that was created by Jessica (owner of There She Goes) in honor of her friend, Linda, who passed away in early January.  Linda suffered from a disease called Amyloidosis.  $4.00 from the sale of each Dance mini set will be donated to the Amyloidosis Support Group in Linda's name.

I used the round version of Mojo127 for this card.  I stamped just a portion of the sentiment for the front of my card by using the masking method.  DP is Origins by Basic Grey.  I just love round cards!

 

My second card uses another new mini set called Beautiful Spring.  The sketch is the square version of Mojo 127.  I used the same cardstock, dp and pearls as my first card, however,  I did add a little stitching to this card!   I also decorated the inside which I don't do often enough!

Sweet Sunday Sketch #57 & Joanne's Blogaversary Challenge

 

We didn't have much going on around here today so I carved out a little stamping time for myself!  I stamped for no reason but for fun!   I have purchased quite a few of the new Pure Innocence stamps from My Favorite Things and am slowly getting each of them inky!  I pulled out "My Umbrella" Pure Innocence and paired it with Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch #57, and Joanne Basile's Blogaversary Challenge to use the paper piecing technique.  I loved Karen's sketch and I love to paper piece, so this card came together easily!!

TE Key Ingredients Subscription Challenge ~ February

Hi there!   It's February 20th and that means it's time for the Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients Challenge!  This month's Key Ingredients Kit is all about black and white with a POP of color! 

Our theme for this month's challenge is to use pops of color in your creations. Create a set of cards (at least 3) to give as a gift, but here's the catch...the majority of your cards must be black and white. Choose a pop of color to use in each of your cards...perhaps the recipient's favorite color?

Taylored Expressions has been busy working on a new idea....Many Marvelous Monogram Download! Each letter will be available on a separate page and scaled to fit inside the punches many of us already own. No stamping...just print and punch!   There is even a page of just borders, so you can use them with your own letter stamps or smaller images! 

 
  
I am in love with these monogram letters!  I went the Clean and Simple route with these monogram cards and I just love how elegant they look!   I printed the "J" monogram on Choice Snow White dp and punched them out with a 1 3/4" circle punch.  All of the patterned paper, ribbon and cardstock is from the kit!  I love the beautiful patterns on the Making Memories DP!  The recipient of this set of cards is someone I met at CHA who was SO SWEET!  She is a friend of Taylor's and helped out in the booth.  She loved all the cards that the Baker's Dozen created so I thought it would be fun to send her this set!  I hope she likes them!

Taylored Expressions Dragonfly Card Drive

When Taylored Expressions released Discover Your Wings as the newest set in the TE Giving Tree Program, Taylor announced that TE would also be hosting a card drive to benefit the Neo-Natal Unit at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD.  Well, the time has come for the Dragonfly Card Drive!   It's such a worthy cause and I hope you'll play along!  You don't need to use Taylor's stamps to play!  Just break out any dragonfly stamp you own!!  You can read all about the Dragonfly Card Drive on Taylor's Blog!
  
I really wanted to participate so I made a card set using the gorgeous dragonfly from Discover Your Wings and paired it with today's sketch from Taylor, TESC101, Jen's Sketch For You to Try and Mojo 126!  I found the tutorial for the A2 sized box in the resource section of Splitcoaststampers!  You will find the recipe for each card at the bottom of the post.

Some words from Skipping Stone Design:
As a company, we wanted to do something to give back to the people who have been so devastated by the Haitian Earthquake.  So we thought what better way than to invite some of our favorite stampers to join us in this cause.  Each card you see on the blog hop today will be auctioned on E-bay with all proceeds going to the Red Cross in support of the Haitian Relief Effort (please check the Skipping Stones Design Website for the link to the auction).  100% of the proceeds of the Ebay auction and $2.00 from every stamp set purchased from February 16 - 22 will be donated to the Red Cross. We know that we can make a difference.

For my card I used the HILARIOUS stamp set Funny Bras Volume #1.  I stamped the bra two times in Pure Poppy ink onto Vintage Cream cardstock.  I layered one bra with Classic Oval and Scallop Oval Nestabilities, and cut the second bra out and popped it up for some dimension.  The bra was screaming for some bling, so I added some adhesive rhinestones!   And don't you love that sentiment?   It was punched out with a small oval punch. The sketch is this week's sketch (flipped) from Mercy Kerin {MTSC61} although I covered up the center square from the sketch with the bow!  The DP is the new Material Girl from Cosmo Cricket.

How about a prize? In addition to the fabulous eye candy, we have decided to hide a prize somewhere along the hop! There will be a few pre-release sets up for grabs hidden along the blog hop.  The fun part is...we're not telling you who it is! I used Chloe the Coffee Mug Girl for my card.  I am IN LOVE with the Green Bean Baby images!  I have a few and I'm sad to say this is my first time inking any of them up!  I stamped Chloe in Memento Tuxedo Black on PTI white cardstock, colored her with Copics and cut her out with Classic Circle Nesties.  I stamped the heart from the mug a second time, popped it up with dimensionals and added a good dose of Martha Stewart red glitter with a Sakura Quickie Glue Pen.  The sentiment is from a Papertrey Ink set called Wishing You.  The sketch is this week's Mojo 125, slightly modified!  The DP is my FAVE Love Me Do by My Mind's Eye!

Verve Project Parade ~ Tags, Tins & Treats

Hi there everyone!  Today is the final day of the Verve Project Parade over on the Verve blog and it is my day to post a project!  The theme this month is Tags, Tins & Treats.  If you want to play along you can check out the Verve blog for all the details.  You have until Monday February 15th to get your projects done......and did I mention that there are prizes involved?  So let me give you a look at my project......

 I started my project with this cone shaped bag filled with colorful gumballs.....

And this is what it looked like after!!  I'm giving these to my girls as part of their Valentine Gift!  They LOVE bubble gum!!

I used the new Verve set, Heart's Desire and paired it with some Papertrey DP, Simple Valentine, and Pure Poppy Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon!
