Hi there! When Verve had their last release a couple of weeks ago, I fell in LOVE with this new set, Feel The Sun! I just love the flowers that Julee designs for her sets and this flower is no exception! It's gorgeous! I made this card for Amy Sheffer's sketch challenge during release week. Isn't this sketch AWESOME? I love me some layers so this sketch just spoke to me!
I stamped the larger flower from Feel the Sun in Memento Tuxedo Black three times on PTI White cardstock and colored them in with Copics. I cut the first one out with Circle Nesties, cut out the entire second flower with scissors and popped it up on foam tape, then cut out the center portion of the third flower and popped that up on foam tape. To finish it off I added a decorative brad to the center. The dp is one of my favorite ever from Basic Grey, Origins. The colors in this set are so yummy! I finished off the card with some adhesive rhinestones, ribbon and some machine stitching!
Well, that's all for now! Thank you for stopping by!
