Oh my gosh...I just got the stamp set Punch Pals from the SU! catty and I love it! I think this tree is just adorable! I had overlooked this set several times thinking it was too "cute" for me and then I took a look at the Punch Pals Gallery over at Splitcoast and saw this darling card by Yvette. That's all the convincing I needed! LOL!!
This card is definitely inspired by Yvette's tag card. I love the center panel of her tag. This also qualifies for Thursday's Ways to Use it Challenge over at Splitcoast. The challenge was to use a type of mask on your card. I chose to do basic masking. You can find the tutorial here.
On to the details of the card...Card is a 5"square done in Real Red, Stamper's Select White (from Papertrey Ink), Old Olive and Old Olive DSP. I used Punch Pals for the main image and the sentiment. The trees were colored using my Prismacolor pencils, gamsol and a stump. The faux stitching is from my BELOVED All in a Row set. Ribbon is May Arts and comes from one of Jody's ribbon shares! I think it looks like a candy cane!!
The main image center tree is raised on dimensionals. It's kind of hard to tell from the full picture above, so I took a close up from the side so you could see. It really pops IRL!
I appreciate you stopping by!
Have a great Saturday!!
~Jackie
