Happy Sunday! Here is a card I made for today's featured stamper challenge over at Splitcoast. Today's featured stamper is Laura Fredrickson, aka scrapnextras.
Laura has an incredible gallery and I love her blog, which I frequent almost daily! Here is Laura's card that I chose to CASE.
I loved the layout of her card so I kept that the same. Here are a list of changes that I made:
~changed the color combo
~used different stamps
~changed the hardware and ribbon
~added piercing around the main image
~heat embossed the sentiment
I used the chalkboard technique on the main image. What a fun and easy technique. You can find Beate's tutorial for it here.
Thanks for stopping by~
~Jackie

What a beauty! I appreciate the tutorial on the chalking technique and can't wait to try it! Big thanks!

Too cute!!! You did a great job with the challenge - that color combo is just yummy!
So I'm giving your baubles and two minis to my sis for her to drop off to you tomorrow. Sorry it took this long to get them to you. You should have seen me yesterday weighing them out - it was too funny! Thank goodness someone invented a food scale - LOL!
Hope you had a great weekend!

Amazing Jackie! I love the chalkboard technique, and your rich warm colours! Fabulous card, and your "faux" stitching...so perfect it's mind boggling. Mine never turns out like this!
