I made this card for today's Ways to Use It challenge over at Splitcoast. The challenge was to use rub-ons on our project.
This was a perfect challenge for me because I own 5 sets of rub-ons from Stampin' Up! but I have never used any of them!! LOL!
Here's the deets: The card base is a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of Papertrey White cs folded in half.
The black, white and soft sky layers were run through my Cuttlebug with the Diamond Rough embossing folder and the layered together using Tombow Mono Multi glue (my personal favorite).
The flower is a rub-on from the Eastern Elegance pack from SU! It was rubbed onto Papertrey White cs and then cut out. I adhered it to the white layer with mono multi and added a half back pearl from the Pretties Kit.
The sentiment is also a rub-on from the Eastern Elegance pack. Once it was rubbed on, I added some piercing with the mat pack and piercing tool. The pearls on the top left are also from the Pretties Kit.
This is a pretty simple card for me but I love the look! Clean and Simple with no stamping!!
Thanks for stopping by~
~Jackie
