Viva La Verve

Hi everyone! I made this card a few weeks ago and just realized I forgot to post it here! It uses the Viva La Verve sketch with a twist #4 for January, VLVJAN04. What was the twist? You had to follow the sketch and use flowers in some sort of fashion on your card. Amber posts a new sketch every Friday in the Verve Forum. If you enter EACH weeks sketch challenge with a {TWIST} you will be eligible for the grand prize, the next months FULL STAMP RELEASE! At the beginning of the 4th week, Amber will post a seperate thread for Viva la Verve Sketch Champions to post that they've finished all four sketches!

Here are a few details on the card: The color combo is Taken With Teal, Certainly Celery and White. The DP is Urban Prarie from Basic Grey. I stamped the flowers from Grateful Elegance in Memento Tuxedo Black on PTI White, colored them in with Copic markers, cut them out and then added some Crystal Effects to give them a little shine. When they were dry, I put a crystal rhinestone brad in the center. The sentiment, also from Grateful Elegance, was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on PTI White and was cut out with the Labels One Nestabilites. It was layered on two more Labels One cut outs of Certainly Celery and Taken with Teal. The teal panel just behind the sentiment was run through the Swiss Dots embossing folder as was the large white panel, using my Cuttlebug. The ribbon is Certainly Celery grosgrain.
