Hi everyone! Not only is it Friday and time for another one of Taylor's Sketch challenges, but it is also day 2 of sneak peeks from Taylored Expressions! Today I'm previewing the new set called Spooky Expressions along with the coordinating Halloween Key Ingredients! Oh my word do I LOVE this set! It is spooky, creepy and fun! I only used TWO stamps from this set of 17 stamps. Isn't that tree AWESOME?
So here are a few details: I stamped that FABULOUS creepy tree in Versamark onto Intense Kiwi cardstock and then heat embossed with black embossing powder. It was framed with Circle Nestabilities and before removing from the die, was sponged with some Black Soot Distress Ink. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Black ink and punched out with the Word Window Punch. The DP is the new Basic Grey Eerie from the Halloween Key Ingredients as is the sparkly kiwi ribbon. The adhesive gems are NOT from the Halloween Key Ingredients (sorry). I added a little black stitching because I felt it needed a little sumthin' sumthin'...
This set and the Halloween Key Ingredients and a few other goodies are all part of the Spooky Expressions Bundle available on Saturday September 5th at 8:00 AM PST!
Now it's your turn to try the sketch. Taylor will choose the most clever, creative and cute creation from the submissions this week to be the Featured Cupcake Sampler next week. Your design and blog will be featured on her blog during Sketch Friday. You're welcome to create something other than a card, but just stick to the sketch as closely as possible and you'll be eligible for the Featured Sketch honors. If you upload your sketch to Splitcoast, use keyword TESC81. Leave a comment on Taylor's blog with a link to your blog or gallery upload so Taylor can check it out. The deadline to be eligible for the Featured Sketch Honors is Friday September 11th at 8:00 AM PST.
You can't forget the Sketch Samplers either!! I'm sure they rocked this sketch:
