It's Day 1 of the Taylored Expressions February Release Sneak Peeks and we have something EXTRA exciting to share today - a whole new line of rubber stamps called Apple Doodle Ink! We are launching this FUN new line with two stamp sets designed to coordinate perfectly together - Window Shopping and Bakery Business. Taylor is working with a new illustrator on this line and I'm loving the fun and funky style! You can read all about how this line came about on Taylor's Blog!
I have two cards to show you today so let's get down to business! LOL!
This first card showcases both sets together. The window frame and the "Open" sign are from Window Shopping and the rest of the images are from Bakery Business. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to make my little scene. Each image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored in with Copic markers. I paper pieced the shop front and Tena's apron. I added some chocolate and white glitter to the cupcake and cake and then covered the enitre scene with Glossy Accents. The paper is My Mind's Eye Pretty Please that I picked up at CHA.
I had a lot of fun with this second card. The Apron die is a part The Bakery Sampler that will be released this Friday at 8:00am along with all of the new stamps. The Bakery Sampler includes the following: Kraft Bakery Bags, white liquid applique, baking charms, Apron Die Cut, Adirondack Espresso Pearls, Baking Chipboard, Kitchen Twill Ribbon (also on this card), and Kaisercraft Adhesive Rhinestones.
Here are some deets on the card: I covered the entire apron with one of the patterns from Nook and Pantry by Basic Grey. I stamped Tena in Memento Tuxedo Black on Choice Buttercream, colored her in with Copic markers and cut her out with circle Nestabilities. The tag was layered with three different patterns from Nook and Pantry. The sentiment was cut out with Tag Trio Nestabilites and two adhesive rhinestones were placed on either end. The birthday cake was colored with Copics and the frosting was dusted with some chocolate glitter. It was layered with several circle punches and a scallop circle punch. The twill ribbon is from the Bakery Sampler that I described above. What a fun way to present a card!
