Hi there and welcome to day two of the Taylored Expressions sneak peeks! Today the Baker's Dozen will be showing you sneak peeks of two new sets: Favorite Peeps, a DARLING new set designed by Nancy McKinney from the Whimsical Wishes Line and Easter Blessings, a GORGEOUS new religious set from the Lasting Impressions Line. There is also an Easter Key Ingredients Kit designed to work with either of these sets! Everything you see today will be available for purchase Friday March 5th (that's tomorrow) at 8:00am PST!
I used Favorite Peeps for this card and basket set. I just love these sweet images! The egg on the basket is from the set and was designed to work with the new Egg Nestabilities from Spellbinders. I was able to get the egg dies at my local scrapbook store, but the egg would be very easy to cut out with some scissors!
The basket is a My Timeless Template by Lauren Meader that I purchased last year. The card is a loose interpretation of Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch #58.
See the grass? That's a new Martha Stewart Punch that I picked up at my LSS! LOVE!!!
Here is a close up of the basket! Love that egg and it's so fun to color!
I forgot to mention that with the exception of the Kraft cardstock, all of the cardstock, designer paper and ribbon are from the Easter Key Ingredients Kit! Those kits are lifesavers, because everything is coordinated to work together so there really isn't a lot of thinking involved!
This is my final card for the day and it was made with the new and BEAUTIFUL set, Easter Blessings. The cardstock, DP and ribbon came from the Easter Key Ingredients Kit. I stamped the cross in Plum Pudding Ink, cut it out with Oval Nestabilities, then sponged some Landscape Palette Ink around the edges before removing it from the die. I did the same thing with the sentiment. A little machine stitching and some pearls from my stash and the card was complete!
Don't forget the Baker's Dozen! I can't wait to see the samples they've made with these new sets!
