Hi there!!! Before I get to my card, I just wanted to let you all know that I will be moving my blog from Typepad to Blogger starting this Saturday May 8th! No problems with Typepad, just tired of paying to have a blog! That's money I can spend on more stamps/supplies, or just save... I will have the link for you when I do, but just wanted to let you all know!!! I'm working on getting the blog set up with the help of my good friend, Karen Giron!!!
Okay.....onto today's card:
I'm sorry if you're tired of seeing this FANTASTIC Papertrey set, Year of Flowers: Daffodils, but I cannot put it down!!! I just love it! The sketch is from the Papertrey Paper Dolls Blog and is their first challenge so I couldn't wait to play along! I used the new Dotty Biscotti DP ( don't you love that name ) and the Picnic Plaid Impression Plate (AGAIN!). I colored one of the flowers with Copics and paper pieced the second flower with the same DP. I HAD to do the ribbon ruffle again (yes I'm addicted) and added a few stitches on the left with some Rustic Cream vintage twine.
Well, thank you for stopping by! I hope you have a great day!
Stamps: Year of Flowers: Daffodils (PTI)
Paper: Kraft, Lemon Tart, Vintage Cream, Dotty Biscotti DP (All Papertrey Ink)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics
Accessories & Tools: Oval Nesties, Rustic Cream vintage Twine, Vintage Cream Twill, Picnic Plaid Impression Plate, EK Success Scallop Edge Punch, Sewing Machine, Foam Tape
This is a beautiful card!! Seriously, I love love love the colors. It just looks so subtle and pretty. I love everything about it. The stitching, the paper piecing, the ribbon detail - lovely!!
