Have you ever been inspired by someone and you just had to make something with their style in mind? Well, I am a big fan of Maile Belles and her fantastic Clean and Simple Style. I also had the priviledge of meeting her at CHA in January and she was super sweet and ADORABLE! I am a pretty clean stamper, but simple is VERY HARD for me! I love lots and lots of layers and I love using lots and lots of tools....you get the picture. Well, I had a little time last night and sat down to make a card that I call Maile inspired! I didn't case any card in particular, just tried to make something like I think she would! LOL!
I used Delightful Dahlias by Papertrey Ink. I cut the flowers and leaves out of two different DP's (also Papertrey) and then stamped the flower image in Memento Black Ink. I added some depth to the dahlia by coloring randomly with Copic Markers. The scallops were cut with the Large Scallop Die by PTI and I embossed both the scallops and the white panel with my FAVE Picnic Plaid Impression Plate! The sentiment was cut out with Labels Trio by Spellbinders!
Thank you for stopping by! I always appreciate it when you do!
Stamps: Delightful Dahlias (PTI)
Paper: White, True Black, Bitty Box and Pretty Pastels DP (All PTI)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic Markers
Accessories & Tools: Corner Chomper, Delightful Dahlias Dies, Picnic Plaid Impression Plate, Labels Trio (Spellbinders), Spring Rain Satin Ribbon, Foam Tape
This is beautiful! I love it!
