Bellarific Miranda!

 

Hi there!  Happy Bellarific Friday!  I am having a love affair with my Stamping Bella stamps as of late and I have really wanted to participate in Bellarific Friday over at Blogabella, so I took a little time yesterday to make this card!  The challenge this week was ANYTHING GOES....you just had to use your Stamping Bella images!  You can see all of this week's entries at Blogabella!

I used this week's CPS sketch #157.  It's sort of a loose interpretation as I used circle and an oval instead of all circles!  I also broke out my BELOVED October Farm Fresh DP.  Miranda the Tea Cup Girl was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black, colored in with Copics and then cut out with Oval Nesties.  It's hard to tell from the pic, but I added some sparkle to the flowers in her hair and the bottom of the cup with a Red Copic Spica Glitter pen.  It's very sparkly IRL!  To finish it off, I added some machine stitching and some adhesive gems to the flowers in her hair and to the scallops on the bottom.  I left it sentimentless so I can just the right one when needed!

{MTSC64} plus Joanne's Fold It Challenge

Hi there!  It's Tuesday and it's time for another one of Mercy's Sketch challenges!  I combined this week's sketch with Joanne Basile's Fold It Challenge, the last challenge leading up to her third Blogaversary!  We had to fold something....paper pleating, paper crumpling, ribbon pleating, etc.....I tried my hand at some ribbon pleating!  FUN!

I used another one of the Stamping Bella images that had not seen ink yet, Scarlett the Teacup Girl.  I am in LOVE with these images!  I paper pieced the flower and the flowers in Scarlett's hair.  The larger flower was popped up for some dimension.  The sentiment is from a Papertrey set called Birthday Basics.

{MTSC63} Joanne's Sew Krafty Challenge

 
  
Hi there!  It's Tuesday and it's time for another one of Mercy's sketch challenges!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE this week's sketch and paired it with Joanne Basile's Blogaversary Challenge:  Sew Krafty.   You can check out all the details for Joanne's challenge here.

I used Meredith the TeaCup Girl from Stamping Bella.  She's been sitting here uninked just waiting to be used along with a few of her other sisters!  I'm working on it....Ha!  I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black, colored her in with Copics and cut her out with Oval Nestabilities.  The DP is the new and adorable Garden Variety DP from Cosmo Cricket.  I ADORE this patterned paper.....ADORE!!  The buttons and satin ribbon are Pure Poppy from Papertrey Ink.  I added a little machine stitching and some Taylor's Tiny Twinkles and called it quits!

I used Chloe the Coffee Mug Girl for my card.  I am IN LOVE with the Green Bean Baby images!  I have a few and I'm sad to say this is my first time inking any of them up!  I stamped Chloe in Memento Tuxedo Black on PTI white cardstock, colored her with Copics and cut her out with Classic Circle Nesties.  I stamped the heart from the mug a second time, popped it up with dimensionals and added a good dose of Martha Stewart red glitter with a Sakura Quickie Glue Pen.  The sentiment is from a Papertrey Ink set called Wishing You.  The sketch is this week's Mojo 125, slightly modified!  The DP is my FAVE Love Me Do by My Mind's Eye!

OCC Sketch Challenge

Can you tell I'm addicted to the Sweet Slumber DSP by Stampin' Up!???  I can't stop using it!  I just love the colors (Riding Hood Red is my FAVE) so I just leave it on my desk so it's at my finger tips!  The darling image is from Stamping Bella and is called beeemine huggabugg.  I colored her in with Copics and punched her out with a Marvy circle punch.  I also did a little more sewing, although I really need to practice.  The brads are the new 5/16" neutral brads from Stampin' Up!

TECC52 A Year Of Cupcake Sketches Anniversary!!

Taylor is celebrating the one year anniversary of the Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge! She asked each of the ladies on the Weekly Cupcake Crew to design a sketch for the celebration. This is the sketch I designed and I hope you'll all play along with the challenge! I will be selecting one random winner from among all the participants in my challenge to win a $10 gift certificate from Taylored Expressions!

 

All you have to do is make a creation using this sketch (a card or scrapbooking layout) and post your creation to Splitcoast using keyword TECC52JP (for Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge 52 Jackie Pedro)  The deadline to be eligible for the prize drawing is Thursday, January 29th. I'll do the drawing on Thursday evening and announce the winner on Friday, January 30th.

Here is my sample with this week's sketch.  I just received my very first Stamping Bella order today (thanks to Julie Lacey's enabling!!) and couldn't wait ot ink up this adorable image called Cuppycake with a HUGGABUGG on Top.  Even the name is cute!  LOL!  The Huggabugg is raised up on dimensionals.  There is a little bit of Xmas Red Stickles on the cherries and the tips of her anntennas.  The DP is Urban Prairie by Basic Grey.

BSC59 SnowbunnyBella

  A few months ago my friend, Julie, sent me a bunch of Bella images after I left a comment on one of her cards that I didn't own any Bella images!!  SA-WEET!!  I just love the generosity of stampers.  I finally took the time to color some of the images in and can I tell you that these are FUN to color.  Since I got my Copic markers I am always on the look-out for stamps that I can color.  I LOVE MY COPICS!!  But I digress...

Here are a few details:   The sketch, BSC59, is from the Bella forum over at Splitcoaststampers.  Snowbunnybella was colored in with Copics, cut out with Oval Nesties and Stickled (Frosted Lace) and then set aside to dry.  The Snowflake is a mix of Nestabilities, an EK Success snowflake punch and Ghost Shapes.  The Baja Breeze button is from SU!  The sentiment is from a Verve set called Ornamental Christmas.   I made one of the Anna Wight banners that seem to be everywhere lately.  Love the look...A little faux stitching and some dew drops fisished off the card!!
